Winterization

The soft shell clams need to be winterized over the cold winter months in Maine. To do so we had to work with Department of Marine Resources and gain a Limited Permit for Aquaculture (LPA). After gaining approval we are able to winterize them inside mesh bags in a cage and hang it off a local dock.
