The first super important concept I learned was definitley learning how to match colors this year. The main project that helped me with this was, of course: the color wheel project (1). Then we used the skills we learned on the color wheel project on the endangered species ceramics assignment (2). Learning about the color wheel was definitley one of the most fundemental building blocks of our learning this year. Another very imortant concept that we learned was how to draw perspective. The first project that helped us learn this was the one-point perspective of a room (3). Then, later we implemented what we learned on the still life project (4). We would not have been able to accomplish nearly as realistic drawings if we hadn't spent time learning to draw perspective first.

The assignment I am most proud of is definitely my final still life drawing. The reason i am most proud of this art is that I think it is a good culmination of all of the things I learned this year. I know that six months ago I definitley could not have drawn a still life this realistic. So, I think this project is a good representation of my growth as an artist this year.
