Watercolor Painting
When I look at my watercolor painting I can see how many watercolor techniques I put into it. I can see the whisking technique I used for the grassy bushes I have in my painting, I can see the wet in wet technique for my blue sky to give it a more real and marbling effect, and I can also see how in the dirt I used just the tip of my paintbrush to give it more lined out detail and texture. I found that I used a lot of loaded brushing and dry brushing in my painting for adding lots of value and textures. I find the biggest challenge for me was being patient with myself and allowing things to dry. I would find my self wanting to go fast but I had to remind myself that I can take my time and that I have time. This helped to overcome trying to go fast and be impatient.
