Hi, I am Adelaide Strout, a photographer with experience in environmental, artistic, and portrait photography.
I was born and raised in Yarmouth, Maine, where I grew up loving everything to do with the outdoors and sports. If you didn't find me in a hockey rink, you would find me painting or taking pictures of everything that surrounded me.
I grew up loving the arts and had a special love for photography. I was introduced to my first digital camera when I was 8. Waking up on Christmas morning, finding the camera box was one of my happiest moments, and a realization that I would be able to snap pictures of anything that I liked. Soon enough, I started going to my sister's hockey games and taking photos of her and her teammates.
I am currently in high school, where I have completed Photo I and Photo II and am now in advanced Photo. Through these high school experiences, I have learned many things about myself behind and in front of the camera, which I hope to carry on in my years ahead.
Capturing everyday moments of the world and pausing to reflect on each photo, taking in what surrounds me. I hope to continue to snap pictures of the life that has given so much to me and tell the stories of people in many different places.
