If you are at school, you will do the Group Tasks in team A or B. The next day you will be given the Independent Tasks to do in your math book.
If you are at home do the tasks on the Group Task slides and the Independent Task slides in your home learning book.

Once you learn about fractions, everyone can get the same size, nice and fair and equivalent!!

Read it and do the tasks in your book. Make sure you show your thinking and prove you are correct with a diagram or more number sentences.

This is the group problem solving work you will do in group A or B with the teacher.
Weeks 7-11: Measurement
Group Teaching Presentation
You mainly will need to look at this presentation if you are at home because this is the learning you do with the teacher. For all of the group tasks, discuss them with your group, come up with solutions you agree with and show how you can prove the answer you have worked out. Independent tasks get done by yourself in your book.
If you are at home you could discuss the problems with someone in your family. Then draw your working out and thinking in your home learning book. Remember to write the date, PLEASE!
