Scouting Sunday (3/3/24)

Scouts collected money at St. Teresa's church services, all proceeds going directly to the Troop and the Scouts' scout accounts.

MLK Day at the Arts Center (1/15/24)

In respect to MLK day, scouts spend time at the Summit Arts Center creating cards for hospital workers.

2023
Central Presbyterian Nativity Teardown (12/9/23)

Scouts help St. Teresa's Presbyterian take down decorations for their live nativity scene.


Saint Teresa Food Drive (10/22/23 and 10/30/23)

Scouts collect donations and nonperishable food items  for the Saint Teresa food drive thru Stop and Shop and all of Summit school district.

Distinguished Citizen Award Dinner            (9/27/23)

Scouts helped with the flag ceremony at  Canoe Brook golf country club.

Multicultural Food Festival (10/24/23)

Scouts helped prepare food and preformed at the multicultural food festival.

Good Grief 5k Run and Walk                                  (6/4/23)

Scouts ran in the 5k, helped give out ribbons for the kids dash and helped clean up the activity tents. 

Memorial Day Flag Parade (5/29/23)

Scouts went to the veterans day parade and helped with the flag ceremony.

St. Teresa Flag Laying  (5/21/23)

Scouts help lay American flags down near the graves of veterans.

Bridges Meal           (10/13/23)

Scouts packaged and delivered over 110 meals for the homeless and did so by partnering with Summit non-profit Bridges.

Summit College Book Club Sale                                  (4/16/23)

Scouts help organize and sort books to help the summit college book club to prepare for their book sale.

Earth Day Clean Up (4/22/23)

Scouts help clean up trails at Martins Brook trail during earth day. 

2022

Chinese New Year Celebration                (1/15/22)

Scouts help with serving bubble tea and host games. 

 Veterans Day Concert (11/13/22)

Scouts were in the color guard for the Veteran's Day concert.

Scouts helped bring in donated food bags into St. Teresa's food pantry. 


4th of July Flag Raising (07/04/2022) 

Scouts participated and helped raise the flag during the July 4th flag raising event. 


Flag Day                       (6/14/22)

Scouts help present  flags at the Elks lodge  for the Flag Day ceremony.

Scouts help put fresh mulch into treewells in downtown summit.

Americanism (11/14/21)

Scouts fold learn to fold the American  flag. 


Troop 67 waited outside of Kings to hand out lists of items to caring people so they could shop for items for us to send oversea to the military soldiers. 


2020

The boy scout troop made 140 brown bag meals for the homeless people who needed something to eat in Newark. We worked with Bridges, a Summit non-profit organization.

The July 4th Day trip was when the troop raised the flags around Summit.










Boy Scout Troop 67 is chartered by the St. Teresa of Avila Catholic Church 

If you would like to join Troop 67 please attend one of our meetings. Troop meetings are held every Monday at 7:30pm, at Lower Memorial Hall of St. Teresa's Church, at 306 Morris Ave Summit, NJ
