Computer slowness can created by a variety of reasons. Depending on the system you are using, there are different methods of combating this issue. To avoid this issue here are few rules: 1) Turn off your system periodically 2) Be sure you have installed the latest updates to your operating system and any programs you are using 3) Install and run a scan from your anti-virus and anti-malware software 4) Clear your browsing data, cookies and cache regularly in your browser.

Clearing the browsing history, cache and cookies helps to speed up your computer because these pieces take up space on your hard drive that can slow your computer down. When you clear your history, you do not have to delete everything. If you use the password save feature in your browser, you may not want to delete those.

Pop-Up Ads Everywhere

Pop up ads can come from a myriad of different sources. Here are a few ways to prevent them from appear and how to get rid of them once they are there

  1. Be careful about the browser apps and extensions you install. Many have adware and other malicious programs attached to them.
  2. Run anti-virus and anti-malware software regularly.
  3. When installing software to your device, read the screens during the installation process and uncheck boxes that want to install bundled or additional software.
  4. Read all boxes that pop-up when browsing. Often a website will generate a pop-up that says this website wants to send you notifications. Blocking these will stop many pop-up ads from occurring.
