Institut Cal·lípolis 

Institut Cal·lípolis is a specific Vocational Training center, that is, all the studies it teaches are Training Cycles, both Intermediate and Advanced. In addition, our center also teaches other studies related to a future incorporation into the Vocational Training system or already directly into the professional world, such as Specific Training Itineraries and Training and Insertion Programs. All these studies are organized around three professional families: Health, Sports Activities and Personal Image, our motto being Health, well-being and leisure.

Our center was born in 1989 and is located on the Educational Campus of Tarragona. We live with other institutions with which we create joint synergies: another reference center for Vocational Training, the Pere Martell Institute, the SOLC school that cares for people with intellectual disabilities, CREDA (support service for people with hearing, language and communication difficulties). ), and the CRP (Pedagogical Resource Center). The fact that all these institutions are located on the same Campus means that joint activities are very often created and there is inter-institutional collaboration.

Institut Cal·lípolis has a very positive trajectory regarding its expansion of the training offer and therefore in the increase of both staff and students. The center has grown exponentially in the last three courses. While in the 2019-2020 academic year the total number of teachers was 100 people, this academic year 22-23 we already have a staff of 169 teaching staff. This growth is due to the expansion of degrees that are taught and the creation of many more groups to absorb a very high pre-registration. The number of students in the 19-20 academic year was around 1,000, while we currently have almost 1,700 students, who can obtain one of the 23 possible titles that are taught.

Since the 2006 academic year, the institute has obtained ISO 9001 certification for the first time and, four years later, the recognition

+300 of the e2cat Excellence Model based on the EFQM model. This recognition was revalidated in 2016 with another evaluation and it obtained the Q-silver recognition with a rating of +400. Work is currently underway to have it reassessed in order to obtain the EFQM 500+ European Seal of Excellence.

The center has a process management based on continuous improvement and focused on offering quality services, meeting the needs and expectations of interested parties, effective risk management and taking advantage of each of the opportunities that we find through management agile and effective with defined processes.

Institut Cal·lípolis has managed to generalize systems such as the blended learning option, the Dual FP model, alliances with companies, participation in projects and programs, all of them increasing the impact of the center in the educational field and making it one of the flagship centers of the FP in Catalonia. Cal·lípolis has been making a clear and decisive commitment to the comprehensive training of its students for years, promoting internationalization, educational innovation, education for sustainable development and entrepreneurship, always from an inclusive perspective and open opportunities for everyone. student body.

Distributed leadership is promoted where all members of the faculty and the educational community are invited to join its management to achieve personal and professional development that will make us a better center. Therefore, continuous improvement is the center's main driving force.

Institut Cal·lípolis has also opted for the implementation of an environmental management system according to the ISO 14001 standard to guarantee the prevention of risks, environmental contamination and for the protection of the environment.
