Games are a fun way to practise English – it can be a really motivating way to learn a language. Games help students to make and sustain the effort of learning. Games provide language practice in the various skills- speaking, writing, listening and reading. They encourage students to interact and communicate. They create a meaningful context for language use. Games are also great for students who are shy or worried about making mistakes. It can give them an opportunity to communicate in English in a safe and fun way.
