Erasmus+ is the EU's programme to support education, training, youth and sport in Europe (in force until 2020).
It offers opportunities for exchanges of international mobility for for students and teachers staff, between institutions and also training, acquisition of experience and volunteering for people and organizations in Europe.
Contributes to the strategy "Europe 2020" for the growth of employement, social justice and inclusion, and supports the objectives of the strategic framework for European cooperation in the field of education and training (ET 2020).
About Erasmus+ program for the period 2021-2027:
The next Erasmus+ programme for the period 2021-2027 will be substantially strengthened, extended and more inclusive, with the prediction of doubling its butget to 30 billion euros, tripling the number of beneficiaries and promoting, among others, activities which foster knowledge and awareness of the EU, opportunities in forward-looking knowledge fields e.g. climate change, robotics, renewable energies, etc
It is a mobility project within the European Erasmus+ program, its purpose is to develop the strategy of internationalization and modernization of the school and to improve its teaching practice.
The KA1 (KA101) program (Learning Mobility of Individuals) is specifically designed for teachers and other educational staff members. This scholarship is awarded to both teachers and administrative staff of a school who for various reasons need to receive some kind of training in language, methodology or school management.
A mobility project for school education staff can comprise one or more of the following activities:
teaching assignments: this activity allows teachers or other school education staff to teach at a partner school abroad;
structured courses or training events abroad: support the professional development of teachers, school leaders or other educational staff;
job shadowing: provides an opportunity for teachers, school leaders or other school staff to spend a period abroad in a partner school or another relevant organisation active in the field of school education.
The Spanish Service for the Internationalization of Education (SEPIE), acts as the National Agency for the management, dissemination and promotion of the Erasmus+ program of the European Union in the field of Education and Training (2014-2020 ), in addition to other initiatives and European educational programs .
Catalonia's"Departament d'Educació"coordinates with SEPIE to support the Erasmus+ projects. ("programes internacionals" website).
The European Commission is ultimately responsible for the development of the Erasmus+ program and entrusts budgetary implementation tasks to national agencies.

This Erasmus+ KA101 project "I'm In! Inclusion in action" has the main goal to acquire the necessary training for the creation of inclusive learning environments in order to give all students an adequate response to their needs, to attend the growing diversity and to provide quality education.
It consists of two main activities: a job shadowing (4 school education staff mobilities) and a structured course (2 school education staff mobilities)
Job shadowing at Catton Grove School (Norwich-UK)-27th /31st January 2020. (Participants: Four teachers) One week observation of Catton Grove school's good practices, especially methodologies such "Talk for writing" (approach developed by Pie Corbett and Júlia Strong) and other innovative and inclusive activities which are part of their school success.
Structured Course: "Drama Techniques: Developing Self-Expression, Communication and Social Skills for All Students" (Florence - Italy) - 24/29 February 2020 Course to learn how to apply a holistic approach to promote wellbeing, mental and emotional growth, as well as empathy for teachers and all students. It provides new ways of boosting participation, motivation, confidence, self-expression and cooperative spirit in the classroom, as well as to manage conflict, and reinforce the teacher-student relationship.
These mobilities were selected with the intention of providing quality training to the participating teachers that could be easily shared with the rest of the faculty, facilitating the integration of good practices into the school curriculum. These learnings will help the creation of inclusive educational contexts to promote a global competency learning. As a result of these mobilities, different interdisciplinary workshops on theater and dramatization and oral and written expression will be planned and taught at school.
