English coffee breaks on December and January
Our English coffee breaks give the opportunity to speak in English every friday during the coffee breaks (playground time) to all the teachers and school members staff interested. This activity will help the six teachers who are participating in the jobshadowing and in the drama course to practice their English before the mobility and the other teachers and the caretaker to improve their English skills.
We talked about English culture, common missunderstandings, teachers experiences in London and other brittish cities, travel safety issues, etc.
Every Friday one participant in the future mobilities was in charge to prepare some proposals to guide the conversation if necessary.
The school canteen has been a different place for a while...

Our students are challenged to create a creative logo for the Erasmus project"I'm IN! Inclusion in action!.
They know everything about the project... now they must decide which logo can best represent it .
We can't wait to see the results!

We have participated in the Erasmus Days (15/16/17Oct). This workshop is inspired by "Talk for writing" approach used with English as a second language with the 2nd graders. Finally we can begin the activities planned, "keeping distances" but with highly motivated second grade students. You can see our first video below.
As a result of the confinement of 2nd graders "bubbles"produced by the covid-19 pandemic the workshop could have its first part in the 1st term 2020-2021 but the 2nd and 3rd part must be postponed until the second term of 2020-2021.

INDEPENDENT APPLICATION
This methodology is built on three stages of teaching:
1) Imitation - students learn and imitate a text and the language they need with story maps, using their bodies to explain the story, pictures, learning by heart, internalising the text... We read as a reader to ensure comprehension and read as a writer Boxing-up the text structure and analysing its ingredients.
2) Innovation - students adapt the model text with their own ideas, reading as a reader and as a writer and understanding the text structure. We co/construct a tool/kit and the whole class create a new text innovating the model. Students produce their own version, share with partners (co/evaluation) and teacher evaluation.
3) Invention - students create their own story using all the language and skills learnt.

El projecte CORE VALUES (Valors Fonamentals) sorgeix del viatge realitzat per quatre mestres del nostre centre a l’escola de primària Catton Grove ubicada a Norwich (Londres). La idea principal del projecte és incorporar 9 “Valors fonamentals” a les nostres aules per tal de reforçar la cultura i l’ètica de l’escola i ajudar a crear una forta identitat comunitària. En aquest curs 2020-21 hem iniciat aquest projecte a primer de primària com a prova pilot i l’alumnat ha respost molt satisfactòriament.
Els nens i nenes de les dues classes de primer han participat molt activament dels valors que des del mes d’octubre estem treballant mensualment i avui, darrer dia del segon trimestre, alguns infants han obtingut un diploma que els caracteritza com aquells alumnes que més i millor han treballat i/o integrat el valor proposat durant aquell mes concret. Per fer l’entrega de diplomes hem comptat amb la nostra Cap d’Estudis i ha estat una tarda molt emocionant. Felicitem de tot cor als premiats i les premiades i animen i encoratgem a la resta d’alumnat a aconseguir un diploma a final de curs, data en la qual es durà a terme el segon lliurament de diplomes corresponent al curs d’enguany. Fins molt aviat!
