Our students introduce their hometown!
"Sant Feliu is situated in the valley of the river Llobregat, and goes up to Parc de Collserola. The closest mountains to the city, which belong to the Serra de Collserola, are the Puig d'Olorda (436.4 m), the Penya del Moro (375 m), the Puig Aguilar (387 m) and the Puig Sant Pere Màrtir (389 m).The Riera de la Salut flows from the mountains through the city and ends in the Llobregat river, it is usually dry as it only carries water after heavy rain. Students from 5th and 6th grade of Escola Nadal introduced their school with the help of a video presentation. Then, the rest of the partners did their presentations with photos and videos and explained some curiosities about their schools. At the end of each partner's presentation, students from the other schools asked some questions they previously had prepared before the meeting.
After that, in order to break the ice, Spanish students showed to the Italian, Greek and Portuguese students how to play Catalan traditional games. They had fun!!!
Students were excited with the welcoming session as they had never met foreign students before in Escola Nadal. They felt responsible and they were pleased to welcome the students.

We've shown our guests around! There was one Tour Guide group for each partner country: Greece, Portugal and Italy.
Each group was formed by 8 Spanish pupils, from 3rd to 6th Year, the 4 foreign students and their 2 teachers, and one Spanish teacher, too. With a route map we've visited Escola Nadal, explaining each room we've found.
Our students enjoyed not only doing the tour but also preparing it (thinking about the dialogue, practising it,... creating the best route…)

We've been to Montserrat! Going up and down the San Juan funicular and visiting the Nature Classroom that contains explanatory panels on flora, wildlife, legends, and allows to introduce to all of us the most important aspects of the massif without the need to take a tour on foot by the mountain.
We've also explored the path of the hermitages and the medieval itinerary by descending on foot along the way of Sant Miquel, where we could observe the type of rocam, the varied mountain flora, the devastating effects of the fires and know some of the legends referring to the place names of Montserrat .
Students were fascinated with the story about the mountain formation. Erasmus students love the landscape and also the funicular and cremallera transports.

We've visited the CRAM. We attended to a workshop, where we analyzed the level of contamination that exists in the sea, from two real cases and got information about what the CRAM has done to help the animals that have been affected by this contamination.
After our CRAM visit we went to the city council!
The City Council invited the Erasmus students and teachers to visit the place. They prepared a catering event to the guests. The Erasmus teachers introduced themselves and thanked to the representatives.
Both foreign students and local students were excited as we had never been in a ceremony like this. They enjoyed the food catering a lot.

We took the bus to Park Güell, in BCN. There, we walked around the park and visited the main important buildings, parks, monuments,... also, Spanish teachers made some explanation about Antoni Gaudí and the use of recycle materials to construct. At the end, we visited the shop and bought some souvenirs there. We had breakfast at the park.
Before going to CosmoCaixa, we had a tour around the main streets and buildings in BCN.
At CosmoCaixa we visited the museum: Sala Universo, Bosc inundat, Dues mirades a l’antàrtida. We had lunch at the Museum restaurant and went back to Sant Feliu.
Erasmus students and teachers were very surprised in the museum. Amazing expositions for them, things they can try, experience…
They loved El Bosc Inundat, as it represents a piece of Amazonian Rainforest

Ball de bastons group danced some performance in order to show us this traditional dance. Then, Castellers group taught us how to build a human tower and then they made one.
At the end of both exhibition, host families prepared dinner. They have bought some food and also prepared some traditional Catalan dishes like: tortilla de patatas, ‘pa amb tomàquet’, etc.
We've turned into voice actors and dubbed a scene from a well-known movie through different applications such as Imovie, screen o casting or Dropbox.
We've learnt a traditional Greek dance!
We liked the active participation , excitement and eagerness of the students! We enjoyed the activity because our guests managed to encourage a cheerful response, and the students showed willingness and desire to practise and improve their skills in the new dance.
Sicilian children prepared a traditional dance (Tarantella). They showed it to their foreign classmates, teaching them how to dance. All together children danced in the gym with teachers and parents who were also involved in Erasmus activities of the school. The dance was a way to share moments of happiness, joy and to show the typical culture of a country.
It was a real moment of cultural exchange, a moment rich of positive emotions and friendship. The dance is a language everybody can understand, useful to share emotions, positive values and to enjoy all together.
We liked this activity a lot because all the participants felt free to show their happiness. They also showed correctness, good manners, and new language competences using words and new expressions to give instructions and to describe an activity.
This activity allowed the Protuguese students to show a bit of their culture and learn from the other countries different traditional dancing styles/dances.
The children were engaged and curious throughout the activity considering that the song itself has a game component like the popular game of chairs.
