What would it be like to live close to a volcano today?

In this project we are working about volcanoes.  The aim of the PBL is to make the students aware of what it means to live near a volcano and what are the main things you need to have in mind in case of an eruption.

To do that, the students have to research on some active volcanoes, getting to know not only their geological information and the location, but also the last date of eruption and what measures were taken for the population living near them. As a practical part, the students have to build up a mockup of a volcano and record a video of its eruption.

The goal of the project is to perform a symposium in front of younger students to show and explain the conclusions of their research.
