Reflection

The GEP course has been very interesting and has given us a lot of tools to implement content classes in English. I’ve learned a lot of new strategies that are going to be very useful for me in future classes.

Doing CLIL has been a goal for me for some time and through this course I have been able to implement History in English. I have seen the importance of providing a good scaffolding and how it affects to the tasks. Also, I have been able to see that students have more knowledge in English than we previously think. The just need this kind of activities to take it out and use all that knowledge.

I also thank this programme for giving us the opportunity to implement coteaching. We are not used to work together in a class, and after implementing one task in pairs and another alone, I have been able to see all the advantages that has sharing a class with another teacher. We can learn a lot from each other and, also, we have better times in class.
