It was our last day at AICS. We would have liked to spend more days at the school to observe and learn more about the library and the working methodology of the school.
As soon as we arrived, the school smelled of popcorn. Pupils' parents were making popcorn so that in the afternoon pupils could buy a bag of popcorn for €1. Once a month parents organise activities to raise money for pupils' activities.
That day we were also able to see different primary classrooms and attend a flexible group class. In Catalonia this type of class is called Special Education Support Unit (SIEI, the acronym in Catalan).
Pupils in this flexible group use digital tools to set up their morning routines.
All classrooms are marked with signs like the one in the picture.
Before leaving the AICS I told a tale to the children.
Our adventure ended with a big farewell among all the participants of the Erasmus+ Project and the library coordinators. Our second European adventure was over.
Many thanks to all of them, but specially to Matthew for inviting us to have dinner at this house. We tasted typical dishes from Amsterdam and Catalonia. A great dinner where we shared experiences and laughs in good company.
Thank you very much for everything!
