A visit to Aachen University (RWTH), Germany

A former student of our school studies and works at Aachen University in the field of solar technology. He explained to our pupils how a solar racing car works. The benefits of solar energy in this subject area were very impressive! It was a great opportunity for our pupils to experience the direct application of solar energy in technology and to see the areas in which research is currently being carried out. We are excited about the future and whether we will soon see a solar-powered racing car!?
