Astrophysicist and astronaut candidate Dr. Suzanna Randall visits Dietrich-Bonhoeffer-Gymnasium in Bergisch Gladbach, Germany
Dr. Suzanna Randall graduated from our school in 1998 and is now an astrophysicist working as a researcher at the ESO (European Southern Observatory) in Garching near Munich. In a lecture she reported on her career and her professional projects (e.g. she also works for the ALMA telescope project in Chile). She has also been appearing on the ZDF YouTube channel “Terra X Lesch & Co” for three years, where she reports on exciting scientific topics. The focus here is on showing women in particular that the natural sciences are an exciting field of work. We are delighted that our ERASMUS+ course was also able to take part in this event! We learned a lot about our universe, telescopes, energies and radiation!
