School gardens are being built up.

We started to create our garden at the beginning of November with our eight grade students. However as our students came to school only two days a week we also included the 5th grades. 8th and 5th grade students were the only ones that came to school two days a week and others didn't come because of the pandemia. However we are unable to look after our garden as the schools have been closed since the 13 th of November and seems that will be closed at least to the 15th of February. The activity was led by our social science teacher Banu AKBAŞ.

PO3 Our garden in OOU ''Petar Pop Arsov''-Skopje, North Macedonia
This school year (2020/2021), due to different weather conditions and different conditions according to the pandemic, in our school we started preparing our school garden in October 2020. We started preparing the seeds. We prepared parsley seeds, rosemary, carrots, tomatoes, zucchini, peppers, basil, beans and flower seeds.
We work continuously, in teams, expanding and nurturing our school garden. The youngest students prepare seeds and irrigate, and the older students, teachers and parents prepare the soil and clean the weeds. Due to the Covid situation, the older students come in small groups (3-4 students) in the afternoon, and the younger ones - at noon.
