Indranil Mukherjee, a renowned photojournalist with international news media agency, Agence France-Presse spoke to the students of the Mass Media department on the nuances and ethics of photojournalism on Friday, 18 February 2021. A veteran journalist, who has extensively covered conflict zones and political landmark events in Asia, he shared his journey and experience in this field of work, stressing the importance of research and narrative in the visualisation of photographs. In particular, he highlighted the ethics of the profession, citing personal instances on how to maintain integrity as a photographer and respect to the subject matter.
