Class overview-Band- Grade 4
This will be an exciting year for Xavier Elementary Band! My goal is for students to achieve their absolute best on their chosen instrument and be successful in working with others.

I am excited to be teaching band at Xavier this year! I taught band for 32 years in Ripon, and still teach woodwinds at Ripon College. I love the outdoors and the Packers!
Resources
Our first goal is to get everyone off to a great start on their chosen instrument!
All grade 4 students will visit the band room the first two weeks of school to get an up close trial of instruments they are thinking about. Parents will then receive information on the visit and make their selection via Mr. Nelson. Parents are welcome to attend this time with their child; please email Mr. Nelson to arrange a time the first week of school.
