SSA: Ticket to Work
Welcome to the Social Security Administration: Ticket to Work learning opportunity. Ticket to Work (TTW) works alongside Vocational Rehabilitation and other agencies in the employment network in order to help individuals with disabilities to obtain employment while still having access to Medicaid or Medicare. You qualify for TTW if you are between the ages of 18 and 64 and receive Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI) and/or Supplimental Security Income Benefits (SSI). TTW helps you eventually replace your cash benefits with your employment earnings in order to help grant you financial freedom. There are also protections in place to help you return to your benefits if you are unable to continue working. Below you will find additional resources about the Ticket to Work program.
