Third Grade is a transition year on so many different levels. Our 3rd graders are finally invited to browse the materials on the "big kid" side of the library which is always a HUGE thrill! In third grade, our lessons continue to highlight and focus on the terrific resources we have to offer, both electronic and print. Our Library curriculum builds year by year, and as such, your children will learn to use our web-based catalog and will be introduced to our many online resources. They will also embark on a fun and in-depth unit on the 398.2 section of the library, which incorporates multicultural studies, comparing & contrasting, and nonfiction informational writing.
