Students can only bring two pieces of luggage.
Two luggage tags will be provided to each student to be attached to their bags prior to the trip. If a student loses a luggage tag, please have the student see their homeroom teacher prior to putting their luggage on the bus before they depart Eisenhower on Wednesday, September 16th, so that a new tag can be attached.
If a student is packing a sleeping bag, one of their two luggage tags can be attached to the sleeping bag.
We also encourage students to bring a small draw-string backpack. This backpack can be used for students to carry any items (water bottles, chapstick, tissues, hand sanitizer, pencil/pen, Fairview Lake Observation Journal, etc.) they may need while participating in the various presentations and activities hosted by Fairview Lake. Typically, we allow students to have a light snack on the bus when we leave Eisenhower Middle School. Student's can pack that snack in the drawstring bag. No Snacks are permitted in the cabins.
Students will only be able to return to cabins in the evening to access any items in packed luggage. All other necessary items should be carried with them in their draw-string backpack.
