Recently, 1st and 2nd grade teachers used their PLC time to work on student work protocol. It was exciting to use a common assessment to discuss our noticings and implications for teaching. How can common formative assessments impact our instruction and decision about student learning?
The math talk in Mrs. Flynn's class has really taken off. Mathematical discourse has become a daily part of their minilesson.
Recently, we used the Swivl to record Miss Capin's morning meeting. As we begin to implement morning meetings as a consistent practice, we will have examples to share with teachers.
Mrs. McCreary has her students do a greeting in their morning meeting. It is called Duck, Duck, Greet and may be my all-time favorite thing! Go check it out if you can! What a game changer!
