April RETURN BACK

The district is preparing to bring students back for five days per week of in-person instruction. Due to the recent availability of the COVID vaccine for educational staff and local health guidance, we are pleased to announce we will offer daily in-person instruction from 8:50 AM-12:50 PM as follows:

*K - 2 Students to begin on MONDAY, APRIL 5, 2021

*3 - 5 Students to begin on MONDAY, APRIL 12, 2021

*Please note that the afternoon, 2:00 p.m. session will continue as it has been throughout this school year.

This plan sets an ambitious goal of significantly expanding in-person learning. As a result, some rooms may not allow for a full six feet of social distancing. Therefore, the district is committed to these mitigating measures:

*Removal of non-essential classroom furniture

*Desk shields for each student

*Mandatory mask-wearing indoors

*Outdoor snack ONLY. If inclement weather, a snack is eliminated for that day.

*Visual screenings upon entry

*Daily health checklist for students

Please keep in mind that with this change, the hybrid schedule will no longer exist. The elimination of the alternating cohorts will result in a reduction in social distancing and class-sizes may range from 10 students to 25 students.
