HOMEWORK
WORLD LANGUAGE (SPANISH) EXPECTATIONS AND HOMEWORK
Homework is important. It serves as a review and reinforcement of the concepts, themes, and topics acquired in Spanish class.
Expectations:
Be prepared with homework (if any), notebook, folder, pencil
Always try your best by participating and listening
Complete all assignments (class work and homework)
Assignment Expectations:
Homework should be completed by the due dates
Homework should be legible and neat
If you are unsure of how to complete an assignment, you should do the following..
a) Try to answer the question
b) Call a classmate for help
c) Check web site for assistance
d) Use a Spanish-English dictionary
e) Talk to your teacher about it the following week
Homework must be submitted on time. If for some reason the homework is late, students will receive half credit for a late homework assignment. If a student is absent due to illness, homework can be submitted the following week
Homework is subject to change. It will vary with grade level or sometimes be the same. Please refer to your child's homework planner for up-to-date assignments. Spanish homework will be posted in each classroom. Please remember I only see your children once a week.
MaJor Assignments: (TESTS/QUIZZES/PROJECTS)
It is your responsibility to study for tests/quizzes
Bring home quiz/test/project to have parent/guardian sign it and bring it back to school the following week
Schedule an appointment with teacher to come for extra help, if needed.
