I am absolutely thrilled to be your child’s fifth-grade teacher this year alongside Mrs. Binder! We’re looking forward to an exceptional year together, and I’d love to start by sharing a little bit about myself.
I was born and raised in Washington Township and, just like your child, I went through the Westwood Regional School District. It’s a true privilege to now be teaching in such a warm, welcoming, and supportive community.
This will be my 10th year teaching fifth grade at Berkeley Elementary School, and my 8th year co-teaching with Mrs. Binder. I graduated from Immaculata University in Pennsylvania with a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and a concentration in Special Education. In May 2020, I earned my Master's degree in Educational Technology from Concordia University. Most recently, I completed an additional 30 credits to further enhance my professional development.
Outside of the classroom, I love spending quality time with my son Kenny and my husband Ken. I also enjoy being with family and friends, reading, cooking and baking, traveling, and spending time at the beach.
This school year promises to be full of meaningful learning experiences, both in and out of the classroom! I am so excited to be a part of your child’s educational journey.
I strongly believe that open communication is key to a successful year. Please don’t hesitate to reach out if you have any questions or concerns—I’m just an email away at Grace.Lansey@wwrsd.org.
Looking forward to a fantastic year ahead!
