According to a Harvard health magazine, screens themselves will not damage your eyes, they will just tire them out. But this doesn’t mean you can just endlessly stare at screens without consequences. Your eyes will start to hurt and you can strain them. To prevent this, you can buy blue light glasses which are special glasses designed to block the blue light from your screen and protect your eyes. Also, to avoid worsening your eyesight, make sure to read in good lighting and try not to read small text. By following these tips, it’s not entirely guaranteed that you won’t get glasses, but you can delay the weakening of your eyes.
