Crowd Release Notice
Please posted at the entry points to events - and take pictures of it!!!
BEST OPTION: Print the Crowd Release Notice (hardcopy!) and tape it at all the entrances and obvious locations at your event venue, take 2-3 photos of the notice at your event venue and send it to us before your event. We provide the template and you can adapt/translate it to ensure it abides by your local law.
Model Release Forms are still available and you will need to have these printed and signed if you are doing an interview and/or if you do not have the Crowd Release Notice
*Crowd and/or Model Release Forms are only necessary to release footage that have people’s faces featured in them*
*You do not need Crowd and/or Model Release forms for Lights-off footage of a building (with no faces featured)*
In addition to the Crowd Release Forms, you may also require Model Release Forms and Exemption Forms for other situations (e.g. 1-2 people are being interviewed). We encourage you to translate these forms if necessary, and have hardcopies on-hand at your event.
While we're implementing new processes to ensure we abide by the highest compliance standards for image and data protection, many offices have process and guidelines in place to ensure this happens. Where this is the case, please stick to your locally approved processes.
Note: This only applies to images and videos that include identifiable shots of people. Images of switch offs and groups shots where people are not recognisable are not applicable.
