Create an FSA ID (FAFSA Account)
Figure out who your "contributor(s)" is if you are a dependent student.
Is it Mom? Dad? Mom and Dad? Mom and Step-dad? Dad and Step-mom? Or is it only you?
Have your contributor(s) create an FSA ID, if they don't have one already.

Personal Information (Name, Address, Social Security Number, etc)
List of colleges/universities you will or have applied to (up to 20)
2023 W-2 or other tax forms (if applicable)

Now you are ready to complete the FAFSA!
Complete your application here after December 1st. Make sure it is the 2025-2026 FAFSA.
