Classroom Library
Our classroom library is available for students to borrow books throughout the year. It is filled with a wide variety of high-interest books at different reading levels, so every student can find something they enjoy. Students are welcome to take books home to read without a formal checkout process. I simply ask that books are returned when they have finished reading them so that everyone has the opportunity to enjoy them.

Library Visits

Our classroom will be visiting our school library once a week. Students are able to check out books to take home. Books must be returned or renewed on or before due date. Please make sure students bring back library books on the days of scheduled library visits. Students with overdue books will not be able to check out books until overdue books are returned or book fees paid.

This year, our class is excited to read with Scholastic Book Clubs! It’s a great way to build up your child’s book collection at home and help them improve their reading skills. And when you shop with Clubs, your orders earn points I can redeem for books and other classroom supplies we need.
Here’s how it works: I’ll send home flyers like these throughout the year. If you decide to place an order, you can do that through our class ordering page. Your books will arrive at school about 10 days after I submit our classroom order.
By teaming up with Scholastic, we’ll help your child become a more confident, independent reader—and we’ll build a classroom library all of my students are excited to explore!
