Parent Communication

Email

The best way to communicate with me is via email or Class Dojo. Feel free to contact me at any time if you have any questions or concerns. From time to time, I will send out reminders via email or Class Dojo. Please make sure I have your current email address. 

Class Dojo 

We will rely on Class Dojo to communicate with one another: instantly sharing messages, updates, events, and photos from class. It’s simple, secure, and gives you a window into their school day! I’d like all families to join me by signing up for a parent account on Class Dojo! You can use it on any device: it’s a simple, free mobile app for iOS and Android, and can also be accessed from your computer at classdojo.com. 

Classroom Summaries

Classroom summaries are used to keep families up to date with their child's progress and to provide information on what is happening in the classroom. Classroom Summaries are sent home weekly and should be signed and returned by the due date.

Progress Reports/Report Cards

Progress reports are sent out at the end of every month. Progress reports must be signed and returned with Classroom Summaries. Report cards are sent out following the end of the trimester. 

Conferences

Conferences will be held October 6 - October 10. However, additional conferences can be requested at any time throughout the year. 

Student Reading Goals

Reading Goals: Students should read a minimum of 30 minutes every day and take AR quizzes in the classroom to reach their AR Goal.  

Imagine Learning: Students with an Imagine Learning account should complete 25 minutes every day (may be used in place of AR reading goal)
