Our ultimate goal is to help children to excel in an interconnected world. Curiosity and a love of learning are the best things we can instill in our participants. We do this by offering engaging and innovative hands-on activities that allow participants to explore and discover by utilizing awe-inspiring subject matter based on real-world scenarios and cutting-edge research.

MORE THAN JUST A PARK Wild and Wonderful Starts Here! Grand Vue Park, is partnering with the SMART-Center - the local hands-on informal science center in Wheeling, the Near Earth Object Foundation - informal astronomy agency, and SMART Centre Market - interactive science store in Wheeling, WV. We hope to see you at the Grand Vue Park April 8th, 2024 Solar Eclipse Event.
The West Virginia Science Public Outreach Team (WV SPOT) inspires an appreciation of STEM and STEM Careers with WV youth through interactive presentations by trained undergraduate students. Its partnership with Greenbank Observatory (GBO), WVSGC, and NASA IV & V makes it possible.
Our mission is to provide professional development to pre/formal and informal educators to loan classroom kits which enable to them reach their STEM educational goals. To inspire the next generation of STEM professionals through on site and off-site student workshops, summer camps, and by engaging thousands of students in STEM competitions. We do this by: 1. Strengthen public understanding of NASA's missions. 2. Build a diverse future STEM workforce. and 3. Create unique opportunities for students.
Our mission is to inspire lifelong engagement and ethical leadership in STEM, and related professions through mentoring, challenging, and motivating students.

We are dedicated to equipping today's students to become tomorrow's innovators, and to growing the pipeline of science, technology, engineering and math (STEM)-capable students. And we provide teachers with the tools to prepare and guide students to unlock the mysteries of math and science.
The Consortium is dedicated to building research infrastructure and promoting STEM education in West Virginia. The Consortium’s programs focus on student fellowships, research, collaborations with high-technology industries, as well as K-12, and public outreach programs. This is consistent with the strategic vision for the state’s participation in the nation’s current and future endeavors in science and technology. The Consortium is housed in the Benjamin M. Statler College of Engineering and Mineral Resources on the Evansdale Campus of WVU in Morgantown, West Virginia.
The West Virginia State University College of Natural Sciences and Mathematics exists, first to educate students so that they can understand, utilize, and improve upon scientific and mathematical principles and relate such principles to the rest of human knowledge; second, to promote scientific and mathematical literacy on the part of students of other colleges of the University; and third to utilize the expertise of its faculty in service to the state and to the people and institutions of the surrounding area.
Offers experiences where young people learn by doing. We have offices in Institute, Beckley, Oak Hill, and Forks of Coal and provide innovative educational opportunities for underserved youth in the areas of Agriculture, STEM, Healthy Living, and Civic Engagement. Our programs are free, accessible, and stretch beyond the boundaries of traditional 4-H clubs by working with educators, schools, and community members to bring our curriculum directly to youth.
