Plant the Moon Challenge (PTMC), is a teacher-led student global science experiment, learning activity and inspirational project-based learning challenge to see who can grow the best crops using lunar regolith. Apply for a WVSGC mini grant for supplies. Register by Jan 5th as the deadline was extended ~ each participating team will receive a PTMC activity kit (valued at $420 with an additional $100 teacher stipend for experimental supplies).

NASA IV & V ERC has workshops and webinars lasting 3-5 hours. In-person workshops are full training, certifying that you should borrow a classroom equipment kit to complete NASA-related STEM activities. Some 1-to 2-hour webinars resulted in kit certification. Participants at in-person workshops and virtual webinars will receive a certificate granting training hours for professional development, which may be presented to employers for annual requirements.

Wheeling
Grand Vue Park- just outside of Moundsville, WV - will serve as the host site for a large public event, safely bringing the April 8th, 2024, Solar Eclipse to local students, educators, and the general public.
