Harry Potter Club

Are you a Harry Potter fan? Read the books? Watched the movies? Both? Then come join the Harry Potter fan club! We will discuss all things Potter, play trivia games, and maybe indulge in wizard-type treats! All Muggles welcome!

Learn a new game or play an old favorite. This is a time to relax,  make friends and have some fun.


Lego fans, come and build Legos and make new friends!  We will have some sets for you to build and some idea books so you have many options!   You can even come up with some unique creations all your own!

Whether you are an experienced athlete or you have never played a sport before Mrs. Berger will cover topics to help you achieve your goals.

Topics that may be covered include:

How to be coachable, hydration & nutrition, stretching, staying in shape, keeping your grades up, and fundamentals of sports.

Plogging

 The term “plogging” is coined from the English phrase “jogging” and “plocka upp”, a Swedish term that means “picking up”. Yep, plogging is the Swedish fitness trend that combines jogging while picking up trash.

Ballet Folklorico

Participants learn how to perform Mexican Folk Dances. This will include learning about the history behind the traditional outfits, and traditional celebrations when these dances are performed. It might be possible that the team could have one or two presentations to a real audience. If that is the case, parents will receive further details.

Builders Club

Do you like helping and serving others, your school and your community? Builders Club members develop self-awareness while discovering a desire to serve their school and community.

You will gain a service-club experience and make a difference. 

We will learn about showing more care and compassion for each other, identifying needs in our school and community, and discussing service projects that we can perform to make a difference.


*This club is similar to K-Kids at Wide Hollow Elementary and Key club at West Valley High School.*

Dungeons & Dragons and Magic the gathering

Come by and make a character to go on adventures in far off lands with your friends; or grab a deck of creatures and spells to tell a story in a game of commander, all while trying to be the best at the table. Learn teamwork, critical thinking, philosophy, and storytelling by playing games.

Homework Help

September 19th-October 19th


Homework help is intended for students who need extra time, support or a quiet place to complete assignments. 


This year you MUST register to attend (just like sports and our other activities). Each season/session will last four-six weeks. 


All 6th-8th graders are able to register and attend in either building (MS or JH). Students are expected to head straight to the room where they registered to attend. Teachers will take attendance.
