Math-Aids.com is a free site that generates math worksheets for students to practice with. There is a lot to read on the website, but here are the instructions for using the worksheet generator:

  1. After going to the website, click on the type of work your student needs to practice on the menu to the left.

  2. Scroll down to the types of worksheets and click on the one you'd like your student to practice on. There are usually several formats.

  3. Choose the types of numbers your student needs practice with. For example, if you have a Kindergartener, you might choose 1-5 for the top number, and 0 for the bottom number. This will give your student problems that only add 0. If you have a third grader, You might choose 7 as the lower number in the multiplication section to have them practice those facts.

  4. Choose the number of problems.

  5. Then choose the language for the instructions or word problems.

  6. Choose if you want an answer page.

  7. (Skip over the ad) and scroll to the create button.

  8. The worksheet will appear in a box. At the top of the box will be options to save and print. If you chose to have an answer sheet, it will be on the next page.
