All students are expected to meet class deadlines for assignments, homework, tests, and projects. All assignments MUST be handed in at the beginning of the block. A late assignment will be deducted 15 points (College Course) 10 points(R-Track) or 5 points(S-Track) per school day.
Students are expected to maintain academic integrity at all times. There is a ZERO tolerance policy for any form of cheating. Should a student be caught cheating, it will result in a ZERO for that assignment with NO make-up. All parties involved will receive a zero. Do not let someone copy your work and do not plagiarize!
Students who are absent from class due to illness, family necessity, or school related activities are expected to make up posted or scheduled assignments/tests upon the day the student returns to class. If a posted or scheduled class project is due on a day that the student is out of school, the project must be turned in early or on the due date by a trusted classmate or parent (or the assignment will be considered late).
Students who are absent due to illness or family necessity are given the number of days absent plus two days to make up tests and class assignments that were assigned while the student was absent. A student who is absent from school may be required to take a previously announced test upon returning to school at the discretion of the teacher.
