1. RESPECT:
Respect others. This classroom will be a positive learning environment at ALL TIMES. Be respectful and considerate of your classmates as well as your teachers.
NEVER insult, make fun, or laugh at other students. Learning a language is difficult. You must take the risk of speaking, listening, writing, and reading in Spanish in order to improve. Disrespect will not be accepted.
No talking when a teacher or another student is speaking. Raise your hand AND wait to be called on. Do not call out or speak over others.
Respect school and teachers’ property. Keep a clean classroom and always return any borrowed materials. NEVER throw anything across in the classroom!
Respect yourself! Take pride in your work and always put your name on all of your work. The use of foul language will not be tolerated and will result in disciplinary action.
2. Arrive to class on time and be prepared EVERYDAY!
You must be in your assigned seat when the late bell rings. If you are not in your seat when the bell rings you will be marked late.
BE ON TIME!
You must bring required materials to class every day. (See list of required materials below). You will not be sent to your locker during class time, come prepared!
3. Stay in your assigned seat unless otherwise instructed by a teacher.
In this class we work bell to bell.
Sit in desks, not on windowsills or heaters.
4. Remain alert and keep your head off the desk at all times.
5. No eating or drinking in class, except water or if you bring in a doctor’s note. *School Policy.
