HOW to set up Google MEET on an IPAD
Before you begin - Joining Google Meet from Google Classroom on an iPad/iPhone *You MUST have BOTH the Google Classroom AND Google Meets apps downloaded from the self service (a.k.a app store).*
If your teacher turns on Meet for Classroom, you can join a video meeting for your class. You can join a class video meeting after the teacher starts the meeting. To use Meet, you have to sign in to Classroom with your wtsdnj.com account
Join a video meeting in Classroom
Tap Classroom .
Tap the class.
Choose an option:
At the top of the Stream or Classwork page, tap Meet .
On an announcement or post, tap the video meeting link.
To allow Meet to use your camera and microphone, tap Allow.
Before you join, at the bottom, make sure you’re signed in with your school account. If you need to switch accounts, tap Switch - select the Classroom account.
To join the class video meeting, tap Join meeting.
Join with a meeting link or invitation
Choose an option:
If your teacher shared a meeting link, tap the link or paste it into your browser.
Join with a meeting nickname or meeting code
If your teacher or the meeting organizer shared a meeting nickname (or meeting code) with you, you can join a nicknamed meeting.
Open Google Meet using a browser (Safari or Chrome) meet.google.com or join with the Meet app.
(Optional) If you’re already signed in to Meet and need to switch to another account, at the top, tap Menu and select or add your school account.
Tap Meeting Code enter the meeting nickname or meeting code
Tap Join Meeting

Push to Talk-uses the spacebar to talk instead of the mic-to start it, every person entering a new MEET must manually mute, then use the spacebar to mute/unmute yourself in the future!
