The Hunger Games trilogy by Suzanne Collins is a dystopian series set in Panem, a nation divided into a wealthy Capitol and 12 impoverished districts. To maintain control, the Capitol forces each district to send one boy and girl (tributes) to fight in a televised, annual event known as the Hunger Games.  

Harry Potter is a seven-book fantasy series by J.K. Rowling about an orphaned boy who discovers he's a wizard, attends Hogwarts School, and battles the evil Lord Voldemort, who murdered his parents and seeks to conquer the magical world, with his best friends Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger by his side. Each book covers a year of Harry's life, chronicling his magical education, friendships, and his ultimate struggle against Voldemort's return to power, culminating in a final confrontation.
