The English 3 course aims to enhance reading, writing, speaking, listening, and language skills, preparing students for college and career readiness. Through a digital, student-centered curriculum, students will engage in interdisciplinary activities, reading and analyzing a range of complex American fiction and nonfiction texts. The course emphasizes research, synthesis, close reading, and citing evidence. Multimedia resources will help make themes relevant and relatable. Students will improve grammar, writing, and communication skills, culminating in a Google Site Portfolio that showcases their learning process and fosters collaboration with schools and families.
