Take a Break

Learning new things can be a lot of fun, but sometimes it's a lot of work! We can have a mix of emotions at any time. Sometimes its hard to explain why we feel the way we do. I want you to know, it is okay to feel what you are feeling. We all need a break sometimes. 

There are many ways to calm down and relax. Take a few minutes and have some me time. Some options to try can be meditation, yoga, breathing exercises, going for a walk, getting a drink of water, hugging a plushie, reading a book, or coloring. It is okay to ask for help too! Find a an adult you trust to talk about what is going on.

Breathing Exercises

Take a few minutes to work through one or more of these breathing exercises. Read the steps for each and practice it a few times. Concentrate on your breathing and relax your thoughts.
