Hello! My name is Michelle Pires and I am very excited to be your child's second grade teacher. 

I hold an Associates of Arts Degree in Early Childhood Elementary Education from Union County College and a Bachelors of Arts Degree in Elementary Education from Kean University. Prior to teaching second grade, I was the academic support instruction teacher in math and language arts for second and third grade at Ross Street. This will be is my fifth year at Ross Street School. 

I am married and have two daughters, Makayla and Veronica. In our free time we love to travel and visit family all over the country.

I cannot wait to get to know your child and start our adventures in second grade!
