My name is Amy Hynes, and I’m thrilled to be your child’s second grade teacher this year! It may come as a surprise, but I’m proud to say I’m a lifelong member of the Woodbridge community—I attended Ross Street School, Woodbridge Middle School, and graduated from Woodbridge High School. After high school, I earned my degree in Early Childhood and Elementary Education from Susquehanna University. 

Ross Street School has been my professional home since 2004, and it holds a very special place in my heart. In 2009, I married my high school sweetheart, and together we have two wonderful children, Marnie and Dylan. We also have a fun-loving rescue dog named Lucy who keeps us all laughing.

Second grade is a truly magical year full of growth, curiosity, and discovery. I’m so excited to partner with you to support your child’s academic and personal development throughout the year. We’re going to have a lot of fun learning together!
