Learning Expectations
Come to class ON TIME. Students are expected to enter the classroom and be seated at the time of the late bell.
Three lates to class will be a write up (first offense detention).
Students will have warmup questions on the board and are expected to work on them as soon as they enter class.
Students are expected to be respectful to Mrs. Bobel and their peers. Students that disrupt the learning environment will be referred to administration.
Students are responsible for taking care of all borrowed supplies inside the classroom. If students destroy items they were allowed to borrow in the classroom, they will lose access to these essential supplies and will be required to supply their own.
Students are expected to come to class prepared every day with their pencil(s), calculator, notebook/binder and CHARGED Chromebook.
CELL PHONES ARE NOT ALLOWED (district policy). If a cell phone is out for any reason during class, the student will be asked to bring it to the office (first offense, student can retrieve their cell phone at dismissal from the main office; second offense will require a parent pickup).
Students are expected to clean up after themselves.
All work must be completed in class; I do not give daily homework. Students have ample time to complete all required work during math class.
Students are required to work in ALEKS on a minimum of 10 topics EACH WEEK (approx. 1 hour total); the cycle starts Fridays at 8am and ends Thursdays at 11:59pm.
Cheating will not be tolerated and will result in a ZERO on the assignment; students are expected to complete their own work and may get assistance from a peer or see me for help.
Students must be signed into their Chromebook using their student Google ID credentials. Their devices will be monitored via Go Guardian during class.
Students are expected to follow all school and district policies; these rules and expectations are followed in my classroom everyday without exception.
Students are expected to practice posted skills (in Google Classroom) at home when/if needed.
Absent students are expected to complete all missed work. They are not permitted to do makeup work at home, unless I have given an exception. Makeup work will be done in class and/or at lunch.
