Camerata

Camerata is the select vocal ensemble at Woodbridge Middle School, open to all Concert Choir Members by audition! In addition to performing 1-2 additional selections on the Winter and Spring Concerts, Camerata also appears at school functions and events where a smaller group is more appropriate. 

Audition Requirements: 

• Sopranos should prepare the solo "Scarborough Fair" in the key of F Minor. The sheet music can be found below.

• Altos and Baritones should prepare the solo "Scarborough Fair" in the key of D Minor. The sheet music can be found below.

• All voice parts will also be asked to sing a Major Scale "A Cappella" using Solfège syllables ("do-re-mi") 

• Results will be posted within 72 hours of the auditions. Accepted students will receive a permission slip from Mr. McGuire. 

• Students who were in Camerata last year do not need to re-audition, but must return their permission slips to Mr. McGuire no later than September 28th to secure their spot. 

Auditions: Monday, September 28th

All Rehearsals: Mondays from 3:10-3:50, starting October 5th.
