Woodbridge St. Patrick’s Day Parade Volunteer Information
PLEASE MAKE SURE TO WEAR COMFORTABLE FOOTWEAR - YOU WILL BE DOING A LOT OF WALKING
*****WEAR GREEN & WHITE, JFK GREEN ATTIRE, DRESS UP IN IRISH COLORS (GREEN, ORANGE, WHITE)*****
***JFK Attire, your varisty jackets, green and white - All ok to wear that day***
If you did not sign up to volunteer and would still like to, please just show up to Woodbridge High School by 12:30pm and find the volunteer that is checking in students from JFK. They will add your name to the list and you will be able to volunteer that day.
Date: Sunday March 8, 2026
Location/Time:
Starting Location - Get dropped off (your own transportation) by 12:15 PM near the front of the high school / grass area
Ending Location - The parade ends at Woodbridge TOWN HALL. When you complete your volunteer participation in the parade, this location/area is where you can be picked up by a parent/guardian.
To Earn Hours: You must show up, check in with the parade volunteer - they will have your name on a list, complete your participation in the parade - the list will be returned to JFK in which you will then hear an announcement during the following week to see Mrs. McFadden and she will sign off on your volunteer hours.
(DO NOT BRING YOUR VOLUNTEER LOG TO THE PARADE!)
*Please arrive by 12:15 to check in - you will then be told what you will be doing to volunteer and help in the parade. At some point they close the area off, make sure you arrive no later than 12:15 - they will begin to shut down/block off roads.
**The parade kicks off at 1:30PM - you may be put in the front, middle, or end of the parade. You will be told WHEN YOU CHECK IN!!!
***Feel free to wear JFK/Kennedy/Green & White clothing to represent our school with
volunteering, or get dressed up with your favorite Irish attire :-)
****Check the weather that day, make sure to dress appropriately as you will be outside. Make sure to wear comfortable shoes, as you are walking in a parade
