What constitutes unauthorized use of AI?
Unauthorized use of AI includes, but is not limited to, the following:
Using generative AI to create content for assignments that are submitted as original work
Using a generative AI writing assistant to alter the tone, content, diction, syntax, and/or readability of an assignment submitted as original work
Subverting the skills and/or standards that are being assessed by submitting work that utilizes AI (either in whole or in part)
Using AI without acknowledging/attributing its source
Using AI without seeking the teacher’s permission/guidance prior to submission (e.g. - brainstorming or outlining ideas; translating or summarizing texts; answering reading comprehension questions; solving or completing homework problems)
R and S Track Classes - 50% major assessments, 25% homework assessments, 25% minor assessments
Honors Classes - 60% major assessessments, 40% minor assessments
AP/C Classes - 75% major assessments, 25% minor assessments
