Below are the guidelines and expectations for a successful semester!

*Más pronto que tarde. Please be on time. That means you are in your seat BY THE TIME the bell rings! After 2 UNEXCUSED lates to class, it is a write up!
*Preparados. You are expected to have your Chromebook (charged!), writing utensil, notebook, textbook, and homework. Those are the only items that should be on your desk! No bags, books, or notebooks for other classes!
*Hacer Ahora. Upon arrival, I will greet you and there will be a task for you to complete on the board. Please read the directions and start as soon as you enter the classroom. You will complete the Hacer Ahora on a Google Doc, which will be graded at the end of the week. You are not required to complete the Hacer Ahora on a day that you are not present in class.
*Tarea. Homework is due BEFORE class on Google Classroom - there will be posted dates and times! If you submit it after the posted time, it is considered late. Assignments are minus 10 points each day late. You may turn an assignment in for a late grade (-10 points each day). You have 2 days to complete assignments if you are absent (thus if you are absent for 2 days, you have 4 days to complete the assignments).
*Levanten las manos. Raise your hand when you would like to speak. Everyone has a right to speak; therefore, you must wait your turn to be called upon.
*Salir de la silla. ASK before you get out of your seat, whether it is to sharpen your pencil or throw something away. It is a disruption to me and your peers if you get up at random times.
*Salir de la clase. Only one person may use the restroom at a time – make sure you have your ID! You must be seated and waiting until the bell rings for dismissal at the end of class.
*Electrónicos. Usage of electronic devices (Air pods, headphones, iPods, tablets, cellphones, etc.) ARE NOT PERMITTED IN THE CLASSROOM, unless I say you can use them. If used, they will be taken away.
