Work that is missed due to absence may be made up for full credit. The time limit is 2 school days for every school day of absence. These are not cumulative from different absences. For example, if a student is absent on Monday and Wednesday they do not have 4 days to make up all that work. They have 2 days to make up the work from Monday and 2 days to make up the work from Wednesday. If the student were absent on Monday and Tuesday, they would have 4 days to make up the work from Monday and Tuesday.
Work, for which students were present, that is not handed in is LATE. 5 points per day are deducted for 3 days. On the third day, the maximum score possible is a 50. After the third day, the work may not be handed in for credit.
Assignments and due times
Homework is due by the beginning of the next class session.
Quizzes and Tests are due by the end of class on the day they were assigned, or by a particular time if stated in class.
Quizzes and Tests are always assigned with more time than is needed.
Late and missing work digitally
Homework that is not submitted by the start of the class in which it is due will be marked late and subject to a 5 point deduction.
Homework that does not have work attached when it is due will have a 5 point deduction for not showing work.
Tests and quizzes that do not have work attached will not receive partial credit for any incorrect answers. This means the raw score shown when submitted is the score for the test or quiz.
